About This Knife

Introducing the Brass Reaper — a commanding, classic Bowie knife made from durable 12Cr stainless steel, featuring an approximately 10-inch clip-point blade with a full fuller groove and a sharp, curved edge built for serious cutting power.

The approximately 5.5-inch handle is crafted from rich, ridged leather-wrapped wood, accented with polished black bull horn spacers and gleaming brass fittings. A striking brass hilt with a curved thumb guard and a matching brass pommel with a lanyard hole add both protection and a bold, distinctive silhouette to the overall design.

Each Brass Reaper knife comes with a uniquely styled leather sheath, featuring a pointed tip design, decorative stitching, and dual leather straps with snap closures for secure, stylish carry in the field or on display.

Whether you're a collector, outdoorsman, or looking for a striking statement piece, the Brass Reaper combines timeless Bowie knife heritage with premium materials and eye-catching detail.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning & Storage
Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Never place a high-carbon or Damascus steel blade in a dishwasher. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Store in a dry environment, ideally out of the leather sheath for long-term storage to prevent moisture retention.
Oiling the Blade
High-carbon steels will naturally patina over time, which adds character and protection. To prevent rust, apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or camellia oil after every use. For wood handles, occasional treatment with beeswax or boiled linseed oil will preserve the lustre.
Sharpening
Maintain the edge between uses with a ceramic honing rod. When it is time to sharpen, we recommend Japanese water stones (1000/3000 grit) maintained at a 15-20 degree angle per side. Avoid pull-through carbide sharpeners, as they remove too much steel and can chip the hard edge.
