About This Knife

Introducing the Ranger's Fold — a classic lockback folding knife hand-forged from high carbon Damascus steel, showcasing rich, flowing wood-grain patterns that make every blade one of a kind. With an approximately 4.5-inch blade and a smooth, easy-open action, this knife is built for everyday carry, outdoor use, and collectors who appreciate old-world craftsmanship.

The approximately 5-inch handle is crafted from durable black resin, paired with a hand-engraved nickel silver bolster featuring intricate scrollwork and a hand-cut design that adds a refined, vintage touch. Solid brass pins secure the construction for long-lasting durability, while the compact folded profile makes it easy to slip into a pocket or bag.

Each Ranger's Fold knife comes with a genuine leather belt sheath, tooled with a detailed pattern and secured with a snap closure, offering safe and stylish carry wherever you go.

Whether you're looking for a reliable everyday carry knife, a thoughtful gift, or a striking addition to your collection, the Ranger's Fold combines traditional forging techniques with practical, rugged design.

Steel Care Instructions:

High carbon Damascus steel offers excellent sharpness and edge retention but is not stainless, which means it requires regular care to prevent rust and corrosion. After each use, wipe the blade clean and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Apply a light coat of mineral oil or dedicated knife oil to the blade before storing, especially in humid conditions. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, and never store the knife in its sheath while damp. Please note: damage caused by rust or corrosion due to improper care or lack of maintenance is not covered under returns or exchanges.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning & Storage
Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Never place a high-carbon or Damascus steel blade in a dishwasher. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Store in a dry environment, ideally out of the leather sheath for long-term storage to prevent moisture retention.
Oiling the Blade
High-carbon steels will naturally patina over time, which adds character and protection. To prevent rust, apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or camellia oil after every use. For wood handles, occasional treatment with beeswax or boiled linseed oil will preserve the lustre.
Sharpening
Maintain the edge between uses with a ceramic honing rod. When it is time to sharpen, we recommend Japanese water stones (1000/3000 grit) maintained at a 15-20 degree angle per side. Avoid pull-through carbide sharpeners, as they remove too much steel and can chip the hard edge.
