Each knife features a full-tang design with an approximately 5-inch handle made from vibrant flag-themed resin, capturing the stars and stripes in a glossy, translucent finish that catches the light beautifully. Precision pins and a comfortable grip shape make each knife secure and easy to control, whether you're prepping a quick meal or tackling heavy-duty cutting tasks.

The set includes five versatile blade sizes to cover every kitchen task:

  • 5-inch blade – Utility/Paring
  • 7-inch blade – Boning/Slicing
  • 8-inch blade – Chef's Knife
  • 8-inch blade – Second Chef/Slicer
  • 7-inch blade – Santoku/All-Purpose

Every blade is hand-finished with a fine etched pattern and polished cutting edge for smooth, effortless performance through meat, vegetables, and more. The complete set comes in a soft, roll-up leather case with individual knife slots and snap closures, making storage and transport simple and secure.

Whether you're building out a standout kitchen collection or looking for a patriotic gift for a cooking enthusiast, the Old Glory Set delivers eye-catching design and dependable performance in one complete package.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning & Storage
Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Never place a high-carbon or Damascus steel blade in a dishwasher. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Store in a dry environment, ideally out of the leather sheath for long-term storage to prevent moisture retention.
Oiling the Blade
High-carbon steels will naturally patina over time, which adds character and protection. To prevent rust, apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or camellia oil after every use. For wood handles, occasional treatment with beeswax or boiled linseed oil will preserve the lustre.
Sharpening
Maintain the edge between uses with a ceramic honing rod. When it is time to sharpen, we recommend Japanese water stones (1000/3000 grit) maintained at a 15-20 degree angle per side. Avoid pull-through carbide sharpeners, as they remove too much steel and can chip the hard edge.
