Ragnar's Twin Fury Viking Battle Axes – Set of 2 Hand Forged Carbon Steel Axes with Celtic Norse Engraving, Personalized Initial, Leather Sheaths & Wooden Gift Box

About This Knife

Own a piece of Viking legend with the Ragnar's Twin Fury Battle Axes — a matching set of two hand-forged battle axes crafted for warriors, collectors, and lovers of Norse heritage alike.

Each axe head is forged from solid carbon steel, hand-hammered and sharpened for an authentic battle-ready edge with a rugged, weathered finish that echoes centuries-old blacksmithing traditions. The wooden handles, approximately 24 inches in overall length, are hand-carved with intricate Celtic knotwork and a striking Slavic sun wheel (Kolovrat) motif, then wrapped with genuine leather grip bands secured by decorative rivets for a firm, comfortable hold.

This set arrives beautifully presented in a custom wooden gift box lined with rich red velvet, engraved on the lid with matching Norse and Celtic symbols — making it a stunning display piece as much as a functional axe set. Each axe also comes with its own hand-stitched leather sheath for safe storage and display.

Personalization Available: The initial engraved on the axe handles and gift box (shown as "M" in the photos) can be customized with the buyer's own initial or symbol upon request, making this a truly one-of-a-kind heirloom piece or gift.

Whether mounted on a wall, added to a Viking-themed collection, or gifted to someone special, Ragnar's Twin Fury Axes bring the spirit of the Norse warrior into any home.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning & Storage
Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Never place a high-carbon or Damascus steel blade in a dishwasher. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Store in a dry environment, ideally out of the leather sheath for long-term storage to prevent moisture retention.
Oiling the Blade
High-carbon steels will naturally patina over time, which adds character and protection. To prevent rust, apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or camellia oil after every use. For wood handles, occasional treatment with beeswax or boiled linseed oil will preserve the lustre.
Sharpening
Maintain the edge between uses with a ceramic honing rod. When it is time to sharpen, we recommend Japanese water stones (1000/3000 grit) maintained at a 15-20 degree angle per side. Avoid pull-through carbide sharpeners, as they remove too much steel and can chip the hard edge.
