Terms of Service

Welcome to HandForgedWork LLC. We are a dedicated New Mexico limited liability company specializing in premium, highly durable handcrafted blades, axes, and outdoor tools. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and HandForgedWork LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the "Site").

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site and utilizing our digital storefront or custom knife builder, you categorically agree that you have read, clearly understood, and wholeheartedly agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. If you absolutely do not agree with all of these detailed Terms of Service, then you are expressly and strictly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue your use immediately. Your continued use of the Site firmly constitutes your ongoing and binding acceptance of these exact terms.

Age Restrictions and Legal Purchasing Eligibility

The premium handcrafted blades, functional swords, and axes offered by HandForgedWork LLC are authentic, incredibly sharp tools inherently designed for serious outdoor, culinary, or professional use. They are not toys. Accordingly, we enforce a strict minimum age requirement. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your specific jurisdiction, if higher) to legally purchase any bladed product from our website.

By firmly agreeing to these Terms of Service, placing an item in your shopping cart, and successfully completing a checkout transaction, you explicitly represent, warrant, and legally guarantee that you meet this strict age requirement. Any falsification of this crucial detail constitutes a material breach of this legally binding agreement and immediately absolves HandForgedWork LLC of any related liabilities.

Customer Responsibility Regarding Knife Laws

The regulatory landscape concerning the legal ownership, legal carry, and legal concealment of specific blade profiles—especially automatic knives, double-edged daggers, specific sword lengths, and concealed carry axes—varies drastically and significantly from state to state, county to county, and city to city across the United States.

HandForgedWork LLC cannot and does not provide formal legal advice. It is your sole, absolute, and individual responsibility to independently research, fully understand, and rigorously comply with all local, state, federal, and international laws pertaining to the legal purchase, legal possession, and legal transport of any item you purchase from our workshop. We strongly warn you that some specific models, particularly certain sword profiles or double-edged implements, may be completely unlawful to possess in your specific jurisdiction.

By finalizing your purchase, you explicitly represent that the specific item you ordered can be legally purchased and legally owned in your specific location. We are not responsible if customs, local law enforcement, or postal authorities confiscate your purchased item due to local legal restrictions.

Handcrafted Product Descriptions and Variances

We pride ourselves immensely on our traditional artisan forging methods. Because absolutely every single piece is meticulously forged to order by a human master blacksmith—rather than stamped out uniformly by an automated machine—there will inherently be slight, unique variations in every final product. The photographs displayed on our website are highly accurate representations of the core design, but your specific blade may feature a slightly different Damascus pattern, a completely unique grain structure in the wooden handle, or a fractionally varied overall length.

These slight dimensional and visual variances are exactly what make your blade a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art. They are not considered manufacturing defects. We attempt to be as precise and highly accurate as possible with our specific product descriptions, dimensional measurements, and stated material weights, but we do not legally warrant that these descriptions are entirely error-free or perfectly exact down to the millimeter.

Pricing, Order Acceptance, and Production Timelines

All of our premium pieces are exclusively made to order. We do not pull items off a dusty warehouse shelf; we ignite the forge specifically for you once your order is confirmed. Because of this dedicated artisan process, please review our Shipping Policy for specific details regarding our strict production tiers and anticipated delivery timelines.

While we strive for absolute accuracy, human errors in pricing may occasionally occur. If a premium sword is accidentally listed for $10 instead of $1,000, we explicitly reserve the right to swiftly cancel any orders placed at the severely incorrect price. In the event of a canceled order due to a clear pricing error, we will immediately issue a complete, full refund back to your original payment method.

Furthermore, we reserve the absolute right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, suspected fraudulent activity, highly abusive interactions with our support team, or orders requesting custom engravings that violate our community standards.

Shipping, Returns, and Warranty Details

This Terms of Service document works in direct conjunction with our other published policies. For comprehensive, highly detailed information regarding our strictly enforced 30-day return window, specifically what happens if your package is lost in transit, and how our robust lifetime warranty operates regarding manufacturing defects, please read our dedicated policies:

You may absolutely not scrape, copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our proprietary photography or text content without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability and Inherent Risks

By their very physical nature, our hand-forged blades, heavy axes, and long swords are extremely sharp, inherently dangerous, and potentially highly lethal tools. By purchasing a product from HandForgedWork LLC, you explicitly acknowledge and fully accept these inherent, obvious risks. You assume absolutely all risk and complete responsibility for the proper, safe, and legal use of these premium tools.

In no event shall HandForgedWork LLC, nor our directors, our master blacksmiths, our employees, or our specific agents, be held liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, highly exemplary, strictly incidental, specifically special, or strictly punitive damages—including, but not limited to, physical bodily injury, accidental death, severe property damage, or any other damages arising from your specific use of our products or your use of the Site.

Our premium blades are designed to be used safely, with proper respect, appropriate training, and extreme care. Misuse, highly aggressive handling, or attempting tasks the blade was never designed for can easily result in catastrophic failure and severe injury. You are solely responsible for ensuring the tool is used correctly.

Indemnification

You agree to fully defend, completely indemnify, and hold HandForgedWork LLC harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, robust agents, expert partners, and dedicated employees, from and against any devastating loss, physical damage, severe liability, legal claim, or demanding action, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your specific use of the Site; (2) your active breach of these Terms of Service; (3) your specific use, blatant misuse, or careless modification of any hand-forged product purchased from us; or (4) your active violation of any local, state, or federal laws regarding the legal ownership of your purchased blade.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and your specific use of the Site are governed by and construed strictly in accordance with the robust laws of the State of New Mexico applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the State of New Mexico, without regard to its specific conflict of law principles.

Any formal legal action of whatever nature brought by either you or us shall be securely commenced or actively prosecuted in the state and federal courts located within the State of New Mexico. You hereby firmly consent to, and completely waive all specific defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens with respect to venue and jurisdiction in such state and federal courts.
